I’m Dreaming of a Burlap Christmas

With Halloween already come and gone and Thanksgiving only a few weeks away…I have already got Christmas on the brain. It started with my white chocolate latte from Starbucks this afternoon. The adorable festive decorated paper cup made me feel all giddy as I listened to Diana Krall Christmas tunes on my ipod in the car driving home today.

All the while making a turn in the round-a-bout, downtown Franklin has already strung lights on all of the light poles. A little nip is in the air now with the seasons in full swing of changing. It got me thinking about what theme I wanted to pursue this year for my home for Christmas. I like to carry it all the way through and this year I have chosen Burlap. I know that it doesn’t sound as glamourous as other fabrics and yes it is the bag potatoes come in but it is fabulous for a vintage themed Christmas home. Etsy is full of amazing burlap Christmas decorating items. I have my eye set on these stockings first and foremost. South House Boutiques has so many cute things like these adorable wine bags perfect for the Arrington Vineyard Merlot I buy every year…
